Origami Birds is a study of the shape of a triangle seen from different perspectives. If you look carefully at the colours, shadows and shapes you will see that they don’t follow what your eye would expect - it is as if the triangles each have their own sense of balance and movement. Just like birds on a telephone wire, they all move at their own pace. Reminiscent of Japanese Origami shapes, this is a unique work that Gary completed originally on canvas.
